Personality:
It is said that no one who encounters Zenyatta ever leaves the same person they were before. This is because Zenyatta has a strong ability to reach out and make connections to those around him, and he empathises deeply with the hurt and suffering of others. He often goes out of his way to help them and make them feel better in whatever way he can. Just because he is endlessly patient and calm, however, does not mean that he can’t be stubborn and persistent either. Genji, a cyborg ninja who had once carried a deep anger and disgust for his own body, is one such example. The ninja had spurned Zenyatta’s attempts to help with him several times, but Zenyatta refused to leave him alone because he sensed that Genji needed his help. Eventually Genji had let Zenyatta into his life as his teacher and the two of them had been together ever since.
Peaceful he may be, Zenyatta is no pacifist. A line he has in the game states that while in battle he feels no joy or remorse when he takes the life of his enemies. While he may wish that conflict could be solved without violence, he knows that often you need to fight, and even kill, to protect the innocent, and Zenyatta is no coward when it comes to violence. If there is a fight to be had, Zenyatta will follow others into battle without hesitation.
When it comes to the hatred omnics like himself face, Zenyatta makes sure to understand and empathise with both sides of the conflict. He knows that he and other omnics all bear a soul because they all can think and feel for themselves beyond their programming. He also knows that there are many wounds left over from the Omnic Crisis that will take a very long time to heal. While Tekhartha Mondatta, Zenyatta’s former teacher and leader of the Shambali, believes the best way to heal the world is through speeches to the masses and dogmatic teachings, Zenyatta believed that the wounds can be healed through one-on-one interactions and connections with others, and that this way kindness can be given over and over again by those who’ve received it. This difference in belief lead to many arguments with Mondatta and Zenyatta eventually leaving the Shambali behind.
Contracts:
Zenyatta welcomes adversity and is always willing to try new things. While he’s a little off-put at first at being so far away from everything he knows, he gets used to it very quickly and embraces the opportunity to expand his own understanding of the universe.
Abilities/Skills:
Orb of Destruction: Zenyatta’s basic attack. He throws blue round projectiles at his enemies.
Orb of Harmony: A golden orb that Zenyatta can use to heal his allies.
Orb of Discord: A dark purple orb that increases the amount of damage an enemy will take.
Transcendence: Zenyatta’s ultimate. When he enters this state nearby allies are instantly healed and he himself is completely invulnerable to any form of attack.
Floating: Zenyatta floats around in lotus position while in battle.

Zen: Zenyatta is completely at peace with himself and the world and very few things will ever ruffle him or make him lose his composure.
Teaching: Zenyatta is a teacher, first and foremost, and is always willing to impart some wisdom or teaching to anyone who seems to need it.

Made out of tissue paper: While Zenyatta’s spirit is willing, his body is very delicate and goes down after just a few hits or a single headshot.
Items: All Zenyatta has of value are his nine orbs that hover around his neck.

Perhaps that is understating it just a bit, as many, if not most, of us are from entirely different universes altogether.
